TA DA!! Landscaping style

So the landscaping is finally done and we are so happy! It was quite a process but I think it was SO worth it- the drive up appeal is so much better now- and you can actually SEE the left side of the house again. We've gone from this:

to ripping everything out:

to FINISHED!!

Think we may add a few more back there but we have to be careful of the ivy roots

AMAZING right? Now we just need to add some fun chairs and a table so we can sit out there! WOO HOO!

The only thing left for us to do is get a few larger stones to put in between our patio and the drip line- after deciding on leaving it empty, we both thought it looked funny so we are going to get some stepping stone sized rocks to go across that area- just so you know!

Do also notice the updated picture in the title of the blog- that was SUPER exciting :)

How's THAT for a happy hump day picture?!?!

Great job you guys! I am very impressed and wholeheartedly agree being able to "see" the front of your house makes a big difference. BTW, you better hurry up and get that furniture so you can sit outside now because sitting outside in hot humid Houston summers is not fun.

  10. Thanks so much Pam! We've been loving the difference! I'm originally from Dallas- you'll love it- although the summers are brutal- maybe you should wait to move until AFTER summer is over so those aren't your first few months there! HA
